One can easily tell that the hotel facility itself is new; as such the check-in/out was a breeze (touch screen) with welcoming staff right beside you ready to assist. It is directly across the main train station, a convenient jumping point to the many attractions that are walkable (Higashi-Hongan-ji Temple, Shosei-en Garden, Sanjusangen-do Temple) and otherwise. The room I stayed in was noise proof, I can see the station from my window but I hear no noise coming from trains nor motor vehicles from the busy street below. The included breakfast was also a plus. If the common breakfast area becomes busy/ full capacity, the hotel allows us to bring our breakfast to our rooms and eat it there. There were also coin operated laundry machines that can be used at our convenience. If I need additional hangers for clothes, all I do is ask and the staff brings it to my room. The bedside console for AC and lights inside the room was touch screen, the TV and streaming media controls were easy to use. Our room was cleaned everyday. The rates are not expensive as compared to others.

Great value for money! —Best location as it's just across the Kyoto Station; we were able to conveniently travel to and from Himeji, Osaka, Kobe, and Nara via rapid trains (not bullet train, so the rides are cheaper and covered by the Kansai Area Pass) and to Tokyo via bullet train —Very clean room —Friendly staff —Good taste and variety of buffet breakfast —Free drinks daily in the afternoon until 8:00 PM in the dining area, where you could also bring and eat your own food (for example, if you bought dinner from the convenience store) —Common area has a functional microwave —Hassle-free check-in and check-out via the machines

The location was great. It was just across Kyoto station and with many food/shopping options nearby. The room was clean and comfortable. Shower pressure was awesome! Hotel amenities were also provided on a need-to-use basis; very environmentally friendly. I had the utter misfortune of losing my wallet on the way back from the nearby supermarket. The sweetest female staff at the reception on 2nd Nov 3pm helped me call my next hotel to check if they took contactless payment for mastercard. It really helped ease my anxiety as I lost all my cash and physical cards alongside my wallet and hence could only pay with my phone.

Very good location, directly across the Kyoto station. Eventhough very near from the station the room isolation is really nice. The price also very reasonable and we get a good breakfast. The cleanliness of the room is excellent. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Check in and check out is very easy and quick by doing itself. If you have any difficulties, the staff always standby to help. There was also information, where you can see sakura. It´s very useful for us.

The hotel was modern and very close to Kyoto Station, Avanti Shopping Centre and the Bus Area where we had to go for our Kyoto Tour. Beds were comfortable and staff were lovely. They even put a little sign to wish us a happy 25th anniversary. Breakfast was provided which was ok and if you don’t use your vouchers you can exchange them for a snack pack. They also helped us with luggage transfers. We enjoyed our stay - The hotel exceed our expectations.
